A bit of History...

Hebron Baptist Church has been ministering within the community of Hebron and beyond since 1837. With a passion for God’s word and the experience of His redemptive grace, we continue to see God move in the hearts and lives of this fellowship. The original church building stood as a beacon of hope within the community for decades. It was the desire of the congregation to ensure that God’s work continued in Hebron and in the year 1999 we saw the groundbreaking for a new facility. This has been our home since 2000.. We were blessed to have paid the mortgage off in 2015!

Our Facility

Our current facility has given us space to utilize for more effective ministry and fellowship opportunities and is wheelchair accessible. The sanctuary can hold over 200 seats for worship services and events when needed. A large fellowship hall and kitchen is used frequently for our congregational meals as well as special community and private events. An office and pastor’s study is located on the main floor with internet access and a window overlooking the community. Our lower level contains several Sunday school rooms, storage and a nursery.

The Playground

As you come up the hill toward the church, on your right hand side you will notice a community playground. This recreation space is owned by Hebron Baptist Church. When the land was originally purchased by the congregation they felt led to use some of the area for the community and this led to the creation of the current playground. The maintenance and operation is performed by those who serve on the playground committee and other faithful volunteers from the congregation. The gazebo and playground have been utilized in the past for summer ministry.
