What’s here for my kids?
We have made provision for families with nursery age children by providing a clean, attractive area for parents. We also have children’s classes on Sunday Morning, during our Sunday school hour, for ages 2 to 12. These classes are staffed with trained, friendly, and well-qualified teachers and helpers who will make church exciting and memorable for your child. All of those who serve in leadership roles are certified with checks and are trained in our plan to protect program. We also strive to involved young people in parts of the weekly worship time. In our lobby we have Kid's colouring activities and crayons available for Children who may need them during the service too.
What should I expect as a First-time visitor?
Every church is different and we know there can be many questions when visiting a church for the first time. This page will give you an idea of what to expect when you come to Hebron Baptist Church. Below are some frequently asked questions. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact us.
How should I dress?
We are more concerned that you find a place where your spiritual needs can be met and don't really have an expectation for how the who attend dress in particular. When you attend you'll see people wearing everything from suit coats to flips flops. Whatever you wear, you’ll be in good company. It will be a blessing to have you.
What is the Music like?
One theologian said, “Show me a church’s songs and I’ll show you their theology.” We absolutely agree. Our primary passion in song choice is rich content that reminds us of who God is. You’ll hear a healthy blend of contemporary music and traditional hymns during the service. Our prayer is that through our time of worship that you will leave having had a sense of God's presence among us.
Messages
Our Messages (Or Sermons) are always practical in nature. We believe God wants to be involved in our everyday lives, so we present the truths of the Bible in a way that is easy to understand without watering it down.
How long is the service on average?
We promise we won't be here all day. Each time we meet usually lasts a little over an hour.
Is the building wheelchair accessible?
We are happy to welcome people of every level of ability whatever their needs. We are wheelchair accessible and try our best to be conscious of peoples needs who visit. Let us know how we can help when you come if needed.
